Ladi Earth shook the city as she took to the stage for an amazing, impromptu performance at ACL this year.
ACL, Austin's annual music festival, invites thousands of visitors and festival go-ers each year, to view performances from some of the hottest, upcoming artists in the industry. This years line-up featured Lizzo, Cardi B, Billie Elish, and many more. As the line-up was made public for guests to plan out their ACL weekend, no one was ready for the storm that was about to take place right there inside the city.
Ladi Earth, a Texas artist managed by entrepreneur & artist developer Jamey Watts, took the stage at ACL, Friday, October 4th, to give an amazing performance that had the crowd on their feet! Described as a "creator" with an aura that holds the perfect balance of vulgarity and spirituality, Ladi Earth has been a constant growing force in the Austin music scene. She has been featured in the Austin Chronicle multiple times and is a well-known figure in the Austin hip-hop scene. During her sexy, fun-filled performance, she admitted to being booked for ACL on short notice, but didn't fail to give the people the outstanding show they wanted.
Coming on to the stage with her mesh body suit and long neon green braids, Ladi Earth was not shy to show her best moves. And just when we thought her surprises had run out, she did the unexpected. Mid performance, she invited Austin rapper Paris Flacko to the stage for an energetic performance that brought on a roar of cheers, claps and whistles from the crowd.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Paris Flacko, originally from Galveston County, this Texas rapper has been coming up quickly in the Austin hip-hop scene. He's well-known for his high-energy performances and his love for Japanese culture, which he proudly displays through his song cover art and eclectic sense of fashion.
