When it comes to rappers and the police, history has shown that they never have much luck. This week in Los Angeles, Polo G was reportedly arrested in downtown. As always, TMZ was the first to report the 22-year-old Chicago native was taken into custody. Police pulled over a vehicle Monday afternoon with Polo G and a companion.
According to reports, even though Polo G was in the passenger seat when they were being pulled over, he had a concealed weapon on him which led to his arrest. Its unclear to the reason that the car was pulled over in the first place. The L.A County Sheriff's office has claimed that he has posted his 35,000 dollar bail and is free as of now. His next court date is scheduled for January 6, 2022.
This incident is so soon after his June arrest in Miami. The young rapper was celebrating the release of his new album, Hall Of Fame, after it topped the charts. After being stopped by local law enforcement, he was taken into custody on charges of battery on a police officer, threatening a public servant, resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer without violence and criminal mischief. Hopefully the young star stays out of trouble after handling all of these road blocks. The future is bright for him.
