Kanye West & Jay-Z For Most Grammy Wins

It has definitely been a turbulent year for Kanye so far. Between outbursts on social media and marital problems, Ye has been in the spotlight quite a bit lately. These are reasons that, despite winning awards this year, Kanye was not allowed to attend the Grammys due to his 'concerning online behavior'.

Jay-Z, on the other hand, has been relatively quiet. Besides dropping a few features (most notably his feature with Nas after squashed beef) he has made a couple huge moves this year using his partnership with the NFL to get a super lineup for the Super Bowl, and so for them to break a record together this year is pretty unexpected.

Kanye was celebrated twice at the Grammys this year, despite his absence at the event. He won 2 awards for tracks off of his 10th studio album, Donda. His song song 'Hurricane' with Pop crooner, The Weeknd, was voted best melodic rap performance, as well as his collaboration with Jay-Z entitled 'Jail'. Now the 2 are tied at 24 Grammy awards each, and both round off the top 10 list of most Grammy awards in history.
