Queen Deelah & Gio Bring Passion & Culture to the Stage With the New Single "Black Love"
Whoever says that RnB is dead, tired or for "older people" is obviously still listening to mainstream music on their car's FM radio. Today Good Music Influence highlights Texas artists Queen Deelah and Gio. These well-known songstresses have graced the GMI site with a smooth and soulful jam entitled 'Black Love' and it's focusing on exactly that. These two talented ladies have been performing in and around central Texas for a few years now, growing in popularity, performing on their own separate platforms. Their long-awaited collaboration was just what the Texas R&B scene needed to warm the hearts of those facing the winter storm with the one they love.
The music video does a great job portraying healthy, positive depictions of black love and loyalty that are often over not seen from the outside looking in. Queen Deelah delivers a set of beautifully poetic and thoughtful lyrics, while Gio provides flavorful melodies that effortlessly glide throughout the hook and her verse. The music video was well put together by Austin videographer PS Slim. Altogether, this song is a jam fit for a night with your lover. I'd say it's a Valentine's Day vibe, but we wouldn't be surprised to hear this in a lounge, at an anniversary, wedding or other event. It's that good. Check out the video below!
