Rihanna Finally Explains Why She's Keeping New Music A Secret

The multi-genre artist who has won Grammys in the R&B, dance and rap categories has been pulling our leg for the last 4 years. The Rihanna navy has all, but surrounded her home to figure out the question on everyone's mind, "Rihanna, where the heck is the new music!?".

In an interview with The Associated Press, Rihanna mentioned that she has been working hard on a new album for a long time now; preparing and such. Now, she said she’s asked herself the questions: “What do I feel personally? What do I want to put out, and as an artist, how do I want to play it with my art? How do I want to interpret that?” “How do I want to reimagine it because it’s been so structured before,”. It seems to us that Rihanna is changing the way she releases her art, focusing less on what the audience wants to see and honing in more on what she would like to see herself put out. She seems to be taking into account what her works of art mean to her and how she would like them to be interpreted by the world.

Since the release of “ANTI,” the grammy award winning, make-up and fashion mogul has been popping up here and there to remind us who's the Queen. She’s guest appeared on songs like DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty,” N.E.R.D.’s “Lemon” and Future’s “Selfish.” So far, her only 2020 appearance has been “Believe It” with PartyNextDoor. Don't worry Ri-ri, we haven't lost faith in you yet. Here's hoping for a new single from the Queen herself before the year is up!
