Milwaukee Artist Alan Ward Drops Bars In New Visual

Milwaukee hip hop doesn't get much fame on the major rap scene, but Alan Ward is proving that there's hidden talent in the city. For his first time on the GMI pages, he sent over the music video to his single 'Studio Time'.

In times where the bar for wordplay is lowered greatly, its refreshing to see a young artist taking time to perfect his flow and pen game. Ward definitely has a different sound than most have. At times he raps with a hunger that reminds me of a young Joey Bada$$ on his '1999' album. The simple, old school influenced beat is perfect for his sporadic rhymes and flow changes.

The song is off of his 2nd mixtape release, entitled 'Dolo' available everywhere. He continues to pick up heat with new releases and with the right marketing, I could definitely see him gaining fans.
