The Isley Brothers And Snoop Dogg Drop A Summer Jam

Verzuz TV has been making unprecedented waves on the internet over the past year. Especially since COVID had everyone inside and on the internet. But one of the latest episodes featuring Funk/soul legends The Isley Brothers and Earth, Wind & Fire delivered more than we could've asked for. They got in the holiday spirit with a special Easter edition of Verzuz, hosted by Steve Harvey.

They went song for song in a two hour span, with a few live performances in between. It also included a little collaboration between the two groups. DJ D-Nice played their classic records, and they told stories about their golden days of fame. After ending with "September" vs "That Lady," The Isley Brothers had an unexpected surprise for the world; they premiered their new single, "Friends and Family," featuring West Coast Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg.

The legendary funk group didn't lose the groove at all on their new single. Its definitely going to be the new barbecue jam you hear your uncle playing.
